Radish...To eat or not to eat?
I was wondering if my radish are ready...Do they "crown"? Should I be able to see red pooping out of the spoil? What should the tops look like?

Where are you at Sass?
My "French Breakfast" do crown. It has been a long time since I have planted traditional radishes so I cannot say for sure. If they have been growing for more than 25 days, pull one up and have a look-see.

Mine are just starting to crown. We ate our first one last night, one I pulled because it was too close to a bigger one. We split a tiny thumb-nail sized radish between us and I sliced up the greens and added it to our Hot and Sour Soup. Yum!
