Radish greens before the radishes?

Radish greens before the radishes?
Can I harvest my radish greens and still pull up radishes later? The leaves are a good usable size, and I love the taste, but I love the radishes just as much. I'm hoping someone will tell me that I can have my cake and eat it too.

yes you can . Only don't take all the leaves as the radish still needs to make its food

If you take all the leaves the radish root will take a lot longer to form. the leaves supply the plant with energy.

woo hoo! I'll try and split the difference in their harvest times, or maybe I'll just wait until the radishes are totally ready, then I can saute the greens and eat the radishes raw.
