New SFGer based in Perth , Australia.

I’ve been dabbling with SFG for 18 months. Love the idea. Currently totally revamping and landscaping my 30 foot by 25 foot backyard (and removing a below ground pool) to go fully SFG. Prepping will take up to 3 months so probably not ready for the spring. Currently building about 30 raised planters from recycled wood plus 20 shallower planters that will be open to the soil below.

Lots of prep work to do. I thought I might put together some form of diary or blog with photos detailing my progress.

Welcome, Gunnerguy! Glad you are getting into SFG’ing! Simso is also from Perth, and is on the forum. You will find a wealth of knowledge here. You are just entering winter, there. Good time to plan.

The SEARCH box in the upper left hand corner has been very helpful for me, as are the other gardeners. Glad you found us!
