Oh no ... that is what I am growing this year ... as well as Marketmore 76.

Sanderson - Thanks for bringing this topic back up. I completely forgot about the vac I bought last year for squash bugs. Definitely time to pull it out.

TD, I live in a semi-desert area! Apples and oranges, or should I say Straight 8s and Muncher.

BJW, What kind of vac did you buy? A Dusterbuster type?

Sanders - yep, it's a Bosch cordless vacuum. It uses the same batteries as my 12v cordless tools. Not too high-powered; it works well enough on sawdust and things, haven't actually used it for my intended purpose (bugs) yet.

Sanderson You're an Angle Suggesting that I Get a dust buster last year, my garden was crawling with leaf-footed squash bugs, I gave the dust buster a good workout and this year I've only seen two or three Thanks again.

Newbeone, I'm so glad it worked for you. I'm sure it sounds like an iffy idea, but I find it's my best tool against them. And, a container of soapy water for dumping the "contents".
