Re: How do I get rid of chinch bugs on my tomatoes?????
First of all,
I'm afraid that's one problem I haven't faced...yet. But I'm wondering, are you certain you have chinch bugs? It is my understanding that they prefer to eat grass, not tomatoes. See this site: http://insects.tamu.edu/fieldguide/aimg55.html
Anyone else got an answer to this?

Chinch bugs wrong name? Stink bugs?
Im sorry, I thought that was their name. I know they are called stink bugs too. They put a little hole in my tomatoes and ruin them.

Organically, spray with dish soap in water, then water a lot. They like dry land.
If you are not opposed to using chemicals, either dust with Sevin or spray with liquid Sevin.

Re: How do I get rid of chinch bugs on my tomatoes?????
i had an infestation of them a few years ago and they wiped out my whole garden nothing i used stopped them the best i can say is if you have dry ground somewhere in your yard water the heck out of it pull up weeds even if there not in your garden you may want to make a sacrificial garden that you let go wild never spray this place let some weeds grow there that way natural predictors have a place to go when you sprey your plants and hopefully the bad bugs will prefer it to

Try dusting the leaves and around the base of your tomatillos with dolomite powder. It's not toxic and works like a microscopic land mine on the bugs.It gums up their exoskeleton; can't move ,can't eat- Game over
time for some salsa!
