What is the difference between this 356 page catalog and the free 190 page catalog?

Today I received an email from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds informing me that my copy of "the 2017 Whole Seed Catalog" has been shipped. I expect it will take a while for it to get to me up here in "the great white north", but I can hardly wait.

Still waiting for my Baker Creek seed catalog to arrive. I'm tracking it online at the DHL website.

In the meantime, I just went to the mailbox to pick up yesterday's mail and to my surprise, there was Veseys Seeds 2017 catalog "Serving Canadian Gardeners Since 1939".

Oh My Gosh Yolos. The restraint. How can you BEAR it! I would drop anything/everything to devour that catalog, even if I'm not buying anything. (Yeah...right!) I ordered the Baker Seeds big catalog yesterday; have to wait until December to see it. Sad

That's what I get for procrastinating.

I've been tracking the delivery of my Baker Creek seed catalog. So far it has taken 8 days to get from Mansfield, MO to DesPlaines, IL, a distance of about 500 miles. Of course we did have the USA Thanksgiving during that period so that would have slowed things down. Only another 800 miles by road to go. Very Happy

I received an email today for pre-ordering the Baker Creek 2018 Whole Seed Catalog at a discounted price of $7 USD. I may do it and then I'll give last year's catalog to my daughter. If I was a good Dad I would order the new one for her and keep the old one for myself. Smile

One does not have to have the newest release of The Whole Seed Catalog to appreciate it. I'm still browsing last years. I wonder which Dad will win out? Wink
