Winter Crops for Warmer Climates
These threads are oldies but goodies. Some folks can grow these winter crops with little to no protection, depending on the micro-region.

thank you for putting this together. This will be great for this winter. I'm going to try the winter peas in the green house this year.

YIKES! I didn't know NZ spinach was a perennial. I hope it doesn't mind being transplanted cuz I definitely did NOT plant it in a permanent location. When will I ever learn to pay attention.
