Irrigation system
Well LW decided it was taking too long to water and so now I am hand digging in a inground water irrigation system. Laying 3/4" PVC under ground between boxes and either use drip hose with emitters every 12" or the heavier grade hose that has plug in spray emitters.
All the irrigation hose will be reused from last years row garden watering system.
Just wish I had planned better and put the irrigation down prior to setting and planting boxes because then I could have used a ditch witch and made short work of it, now its to late and all the digging is by shovel.
Ill post pics tomorrow

RAIN!
I never complain about rain but it sure has messed up my irrigation ditch digging plan for today.

Re: Irrigation system
Just be thankful you're not having to dig in the black clay - filled with chunks of limestone - we have hear in the Dallas area. I've dug many a trench in East Texas and unless you dig deep enough to hit that concrete-like red clay it's so much easier than this black stuff.
