Cappy's Magic Cookie Bars
Well they aint from the garden but they are a old family recipe and a wonderful holiday treat. Try or revisit this old family treat. We use pecans from our tree so I guess it kinda fits here but I wanted to share this with you guys along with my wishes that you have a very merry and blessed Christmas season.

Dang, Cappy! That looks outstanding! Gluten-free to boot. Just what I need! Do you think it would work without the coconut? Do you mind if I post the link on my facebook? I have a coworker that loves to make things for the office particularly if they are gluten free. I'll bet she make this for us.

Re: Cappy's Magic Cookie Bars
This is a very old recipe that my dad usta love to make. the measurements are far from exact. You can easily leave out the coconut but I add even more the combination is great. Feel free to post the link if you wish and just to let you know everything on our main blog and foodie blog every recipe and pic is gluten free. Peg is a Celiac and there has been no wheat or glutin in our house for 15 years. As ya see from our pictures we aint suffering.

Re: Cappy's Magic Cookie Bars
The gluten free grahams we used were very good and the goodies came out perfect. A foodie forum friend posted this recipe for gluten free grahams that we look forwards to trying as well.
