December 2014, Three Word Story

Take time to relax, and let your imagination go! We're going to create a story that no single person could write!
Each member posts just three words at a time, in response to the last post. Try to write words that will part of a sentence. You can stay on the same theme or steer it in an unexpected direction.
Example
post 1: T'was the night
post 2: before Christmas when
post 3: I saw in
post 4: my garden a
post 5: bunch of elves
Talking about the holidays and gardening is a plus, but not required.

Deck the halls with sprigs of rosemary that my true love gave to CC (CapeCoddess) for rubbing on her cat's furry legs. Her poor cat walked through the composted seaweed pile, and smelt like the bottom of the bay, but with overtones of ocean breezes and
