So I noticed this overnight...seems confined to 1 or 2 plants and only the beans

Could they be water spots from where chlorinated hose water hit the leaves?

only watering from a rain barrel....had a ton of rain all last week....then dry, hot and humid as Hades for the past 5 days...haven't watered since last week because the soil still "feels" moist....

Well, that's not a solution - sorry to doubt your watering techniques.  Maybe someone will be a better information source.

The leaves overall look healthy. It is some type of unsightly injury; remove it and things will look better.
