Re: Seeds Started Last Tuesday are Up
It's so wet and chilly I can see that the whole gardening cycle is weeks behind over here ... though things may be starting to warm up at the end of this week.
At present I'm using a LED UV spectrum lit electric heat bed set to 72 oF out in the office for quick germinations as the recent hospitalisation has put me three weeks or so behind in getting the seeds in .
I have cucumbers , cabbages and broccoli that I sowed on the evening of the 5th May now germinated and standing about 1/2" tall . Took them off the hot bed this afternoon & put them out in the unheated glasshouse as the bed has done what it was meant to do
ie.
Get them germinated and growing.
The vacant spaces in the office hot bed are due to be filled tomorrow . So are is the heated misting bed in the glass house.
Things are looking up indeed.
