Re: Chickens Help Make My Compost
Thank you Belinda, your video is very informative and very helpful! This seems like a great idea for the chickens and myself. Since my compost piles are inside my garden area, I have to keep an eye on the chickens while in the garden area so they don't eat up everything I am growing. Your video has gotten me thinking of possibly moving my compost piles to outside the garden area or fencing off the compost area so the chickens can spend plenty of time going through the pile. Gives me food for thought!

Re: Chickens Help Make My Compost
We moved 2 of our piles right next to the compost piles and the girls LOVE it. They're pretty much in there all day long looking for goodies. Our piles are nice and moist, so they're not able to kick it all over like in the video, but they do dig down about 6" and really do a good job! Our own compost and wood chips has made a HUGE difference in our gardens!! Nice video and THANKS!!
