Question about covering garden while gone for weekend

Question about covering garden while gone for weekend
Not sure if this is the right place to ask since this is my first time posting. I live in upstate NY and have been covering my garden every night. I am going away this weekend, the temperature is only supposed to get down to 40 degrees at night. Do you think it will be ok to leave garden uncovered for weekend? I don't have anyone to come and cover it every night so that is why I am asking.

I'm sure someone from your area will answer shortly, but I'd think they would be okay if 40's the low.
What do you have planted?

Thank you, I am going to see my grandbaby. I planted peas, carrots, beets, kale, onion, that is all I remember.

Some of those can even be frozen and be fine. My onions and brussels sprouts and daikon survived 8 degrees and a week at around 25 degrees.
