Myself I might get brave enough to dig up a few early potatoes that are flowering, I still have some spinach that has not bolted, with all the cold rainy weather I brought all the basil back in side and it is THRIVING....(but thats NOT fair)
I have also covered up all my peppers at night with either plastic OR glass cloches. Kale is doing well, could use some manure now,
I have several tomatoes that might just ripen if I put a rotting banana under them...
WHAT ARE YOU going to be eating this long weekend, that you grew...

A few leaves each from chard, kale, lettuce, bunching onions and perhaps three strawberries. I planted the potatoes a bit late but I might dig around them to see if I can find anything.

lettuce, garlic scapes, malabar spinach, and a whole bunch of herbs... hoping that I have some peas or beans too - non-stop rain for the last 24hrs+, so haven't been out.

OK but I get all the credit AND all your tomatoes...
If you cannot get your tomatoes to ripen, but a ripening banana under the plant, it gives off a gas that ripens tomatoes.
WOrked like a charm last year, mine were ripened before the ones being sold by the big farm that sells at the farmers Market.
