Did I miss something by taking over the thread?
Re: Senseless Banter...
This is the 'talk about anything' thread, and there was lots of interest in hearing more about your life. Talk some more about yourself if you wish!
CC was talking about the joke that is in the scroller on the homepage, under the SFG banner.

That must be why they call this thread Senseless Banter.

Re: Senseless Banter...
I must be slow this morning, I still can't reveal the answer. Boffer, can you put the previous sesame seed banner answer in a spoiler?
Re: Senseless Banter...
Kelejan, please delete the from your last post! I love hearing about people's lives, above and beyond gardening. It is gardening that brings us together, but in my opinion, getting to know each other a little bit strengthens the bonds between us (duh), but makes the entire forum more vibrant and active, especially during the winter when we aren't out in our gardens. Well, at least those of us that have winter!

- Because he was on a roll.
Re: Senseless Banter...
I was, until I was about in 7th grade! Then, although I wasn't a troublemaker (yet) I started not doing my homework.

Haha...me, too. Then I think standing atop all that seaweed changed everything. And that's the end of that story.

I Agree!!
I love to hear about everyone's reality.
Re: Senseless Banter...
Well, I got the sesame seed joke and told it to others and it made them laugh. The joke is a typical kids joke.
Happy that you like my remembrances. It was only a few years ago that I was able to really talk about my beginnings as when I was born only 3% were illegitimate; it was a stigma that really had a bad affect on one's life. Such as not getting a job in a bank and having to settle for a low-grade clerical job and losing a couple of boy friends being told by their parents because of my so-called bad blood. This was at age 15 years.
Anyway, tomorrow I might be involved in a new business venture. Something completely different to what I have ever done. We will see what happens.

And I'm guessing you don't want to talk about it until you find out?
But if I'm wrong, I'm all ears!

Thank God the world has changed. That is so insane that your life was impacted by such a piece of why-is-it-anyone's-business-anyway?
I have no regrets about where and who I am today, but that doesn't mean that some of the stuff that happened when I was younger, never should have happened. Definitely true of your background.

Re: Senseless Banter...
It's too late for me to edit my post. I think I got an extra negative in there about what should and shouldn't have happened.
Boffer, I'm ignoring you!
