How do I get rid of them without killing the plants?? The plants have 2-3" single pepper on the plant, but now the foliage is turning yellow and the other peppers are very tiny.

I understand sprinkling cinnamon around the plants keeps away the ants.  I never tried it myself, but its been mentioned on this forum before.
