Second year! Plans for 2013
This is year 2 for the new garden set up. The snow has finally left us! Now I'm hoping for some cool days to grow some cool crops before summer heat hits. I did my first planting in the garden last night. I planted radish in a cross in the lettuce and kale squares, and will probably keep planting radish in other squares if it stays cool.
I have a "tent" trellis in box 3 for the vines, and am hoping it shades the spinach to keep it producing longer before bolting. I may shift some squares to give it more of a patchwork look...but we'll see. At least here are my dreams for 2013!
The raised beds are separated by a 4 foot path in the center and 2 foot between the others. I'll post pictures as things progress. I'd love your thoughts!

Looks good to me! The only thing I would do is space out my kohlrabi plantings to every week or two, to extend the harvest! Have fun and happy planting!
