2nd Year - Garden Plans
I did my first SQF garden 2 years ago, took a break through pregnancy last year and planting again this year. I got a late start this year, so wondering if I should even try a planting of spinach in 2 weeks or if it will be too hot come June for them?
Here are my garden plans, I've already planted everything shown, and plan on planting in 2 weeks from today - more carrots, spinach and sugar snap peas and we love those and can't seem to get enough. My only concern is the weather here in Washington state. It is not normally warm, but this week was the exception reaching in the 80's the past few days. Normally, we can count on 60-70 until July.

Anyone have any ideas what I could grow in my empty spots? That is the area that I can use a trellis without shading the other plants, so I'm wondering if squash, tomatoes, etc. grow well in Washington?

Arugula would be a good choice in the middle forward squares and then possibly determinate Toms, bell peppers and/or maybe bush beans along the back rows. Of course this is according to my tastes and yours may vary.

I really don't know what grows best in Washington State. How about pole beans on the trellis - Kentucky Wonder is delicious.
You could also grow beets, bush beans, lettuce.
Below are two websites I found.
