Private message issue
Today someone tried to send me a private message at 12:45pm EST. I received a notice through my email yet there was nothing in my private message inbox, here at the forum. I want to let that person know what happened in case they want to try again.
Thank you,
LM

Re: Private message issue
Are you sure they didn't have second thoughts and delete the pm before you opened it?

Yes, Rooster, that's why I worded it the way I did. I received your pm and someone else's since that post. Think all is good now, thanks!!

LM... I am pretty sure it was one of my first attempts of 3. My PM kept ending up in my out box and not in my sent box. I finally deleted it after 2 attempts and sent it a 3rd time before it "sent" . This has happened to me many times and is very frustrating.

Just an FYI. A PM will sit in the outbox until the recipient opens it. It just waits there. After the recipient opens the message you can see it listed in the sent box.bnoles wrote:LM... Well.... I guess I need to go have a "duh" moment after learning that. Learn something new here everyday. Thanks camp!

Yes.
And just fyi, you can still edit and delete those pm's in your outbox.

Bob,
Thanks for your persistance!
I went through the same thing way back when. It's part of the forum learning curve I guess!
