Blast them with the hose and then a little soapy water. There are recipe's on the web for making your own insecticidal soap solution.kbshark wrote:thanks... now my battle begins!

Re: Aphids??
This is my third year and when I started I was worried about aphids on my tomatoes because of things I had read. It seems I had lots of other bugs but not aphids until this spring when I planted lettuce. They are all over my lettuce. I thinned out my lettuce this weekend harvesting some leaves and now I'm going after the aphids.

I can see the photo using Chrome as my browser. I cannot see it in Firefox or IE. I will send Rooster a message and he will probably tend to the matter when he gets home from work.

Re: Aphids??
I was having a problem with bugs munching on my arugula and lettuce. I got some lady bugs and turned them loose a few weeks ago. Problem solved....and now I have baby lady bugs everywhere...

I deleted the cookies but using Facebook I can only see the photo in the original post of the bugs that don't look like aphids to me.
Are there supposed to be other photos?
