When I was a kid in Green Bay, Wis my dad always put in a garden and I remember shucking the peas and snapping the beans. Well, I decided last year I should be a gardener, so I bought a garden box and started. Well, I put the garden in on Earth Day ........ way too late for Phoenix and everything burned up.

This year I discovered SFG and thought I would give it a try. I used garden tape for my grid and planted March 3. I was so excited that I suggested we try this method for our school garden too. 4 garden boxes were built and they are also planted. School has harvested cherry tomatoes and strawberries. The Kdg to 3rd graders are so excited to see the garden grow.

But, back to my project. It is growing fabulously. I harvested a zucchini and romaine lettuce today and picked strawberries yesterday. The peas are crawling up the trellis and can't wait for them.

I have attached some photos of my little garden, though I am not sure if that worked.
