Hello,
This is the first year I've started plants indoors. I love my johnny's soil blocks and heat mat, and the 2-bulb fluorescent lights on a timer are working great. I have had the seedlings going for about 3 weeks now, with the timer set for 18 hours on and 6 hours off. They appear to be very healthy, but I am curious as to whether or not I will need to adjust the light schedule. At what point, and to what interval?
Thanks in advance!

I can only speak for myself. I use daylight bulbs in my track lights and I don't change my lighting once they have germinated. I turn them on at 7 am and shut them off at 11 pm every day from the day they germinate to hardening off. My starts have done just fine from broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower to peppers, tomatoes and eggplants.

I only run my light 14-15 hours/day.
