Here's how the fall garden looks so far...daytime temps in the mid 80's, night time temps in the 40's.
broccoli, cauliflower, swiss chard and beets
beets (bulls blood, ruby queen, early wonder, detroit red, colored mix, dutch baby ball) - total of 27 sqaures
carrots (nantes, baby finger, kuroda, danver half long, tonda petite, chantenay) - total of 46 squares
kale, brussel sprouts, romaine (spinach germinated a few days ago - next to the kale)
romaine from seed
one of the eight spinach squares

Can you see my green eyes? I'm so jealous. You've got a super duper fall garden going there. I can see you and your family will be eating fresh, tasty foods for quite a while. Keep up the great work.

Re: fall garden pics
August heat and drought really did a number on the summer garden...so I didn't hesitate to get the fall garden in when I had the chance. Now I just need to stay on top of the cabbage worms...and squirrels wanting to bury acorns in Mels Mix...they love digging in light soil.

Very Nice! I'm still trying to get a raised bed together for
the Green house. Collecting Scrap wood is not easy this
time of year.
