Need help with pruning tom plants
i know nothing about pruning tomato plants. I tried following the comments on a thread here but cannot find the thread again, and I didn't understand what was being referred to.
I guess I just don't know the right terminology to understand what was being discussed.
Basically, I am a visual learner. Is there, maybe, a video to show how to prune them?
The last time I had a garden was so long ago we didn't bother with all the things you people do to tomato plants and other veggies. We just planted them(yes, trenching was done) and let them grow.

Thanks, Yolos. That's a great video! I've saved it to my youtube collection.
Saved again by SFG peeps!

Re: Need help with pruning tom plants
Newbie: friend gave me 3 tomato plants which are getting large and starting to produce fruit...but I have no idea if they are determinate or indeterminate. Is there any way to tell (they were purchased at the farmer's market with no info given) at this point?

Thanks, that is the clearest pic yet.
BTW - how do you get so much in your signature? I had to eliminate some things to get mine to save.
Also, I see that most of your signature is not noted above in the quote.

Maybe as forum moderator you are allowed more. I know I've tried several times, including today, and it will not let me add even to a line already there.
