Help! I have two plants coming up where I've planted my groundcherries, but having never grown them from seed before, have NO clue which is the groundcherry and which is some "other" plant! affraid

Looks like ground cherry on the left, zinnia on the right. And a mint of some sort in the back.

I concur, the left plant looks like ground cherry leaves to me(though it could theoretically be potato or tomato too), the one on the right looks like an oversized basil to me. The small one does look minty-ish.

Groundcherry on left. What type of ground cherry are you growing? I'm looking for something larger and more tasty than Aunt Molly's Ground cherry.
