Composting Class
Did anybody ever go to a composting class? I found that there's one on Saturday not too far from where I live. I'm going. It should be fun and informative.

Re: Composting Class
Yes, I went a couple of summers ago and enjoyed it. Saw compost at its different levels.
The final tally by that Master Organic Gardener from the University, being 20 parts brown to 1 part green, which I try to adhere to in my own composting now. With that help, my compost has improved a lot.
So go and enjoy.

It's a two hour class limited to 20 students so there will be plenty of time to ask all sorts of questions. I can't wait

Re: Composting Class
- Yeah that does sound interesting. I'll have to look and see about one of those in my area. My composting skills are still around novice level, heh.
(My lofty gardening plans look to be delayed this weekend due to rain. So I figure I'd go sit in on a class about using rain barrels to collect water instead Btw, jealous of your tomato grow list and looking forward to hearing how it all goes! )

You might not be so jealous if my "Tomato Experiment" turns out to be a flop.
