Awesome camp! My daughter is going to love this
I'm going to print it out for her and I guess I will have to sacrifice myself as guinea pig

Re: Homemade Baking Mixes
Thanks for the links. I will probably do some exploring in making my own mixes. I already do that with my bread machine. I works great and is really cheap. This experiment will not work well with weight watchers, that I am supposed to be investigating as well. Thanks anyway.

Hi,
Thanks for sending the links. I have switched over to making the muffin mix and storing it in widemouth jars. It barely fits and the sugar needs to go in last. The muffins and brownies are great, and a great time saver.

You might be surprised. Weight Watchers is about eating healthy and controlled portions. The Whole Wheat flour and bean paste "shortning" would be right up their alley although they might want you to investigate baking with Splenda to control sugar.

Re: Homemade Baking Mixes
I have been using the Make-A-Mix cookbook for years - has wet mixes, dry mixes, semi-dry mixes, meat mixes, etc. I like making my own mixes so I can make substitutions as necessary (whole wheat, changing the powdered milk to powdered soy milk, and stuff like that). The brownie mix is amazing! It has 67 mix recipes, and then 306 recipes for using those mixes. Ah, the sweet & sour meatballs!
