Just wanted to say thank you to whoever "fixed" the keep me logged in feature! I used to have to log in every visit. I have now been logged on for about 3 days? It's so nice to click on the "favorite" button, and be right here in the forum!!

Not sure what changed....but now I'm back to having to log in each time. Anyone else? I had been logged "in" for weeks, now, I have to log in each visit :!: :?: :!:

Don't worry. Me, too. It seems to happen from time to time. I think it means one of two things....
1- NR or someone is tweaking the joint around.
2- It's a sign I should just never leave.

My unsubstantiated opinion: it's a function of one's browser. I've got a couple computers with a couple different browsers on each one, my wife and I are both members, I'm a member on other foromotion forums, and THEY ALL ACT DIFFERENTLY, AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!
The main reason I suspect the browser is one time my power went out while I was on the forum. Five minutes later the power came back on, and when I got back to the forum, the log in procedure had changed. To me, that's a function of my browser.
Bottom line...I dunno yet.

I also had to re-log-in yesterday evening and first thing today, but now it's working for me again.

I've had to re-log in each time the last couple of days. Before, I didn't need to re-log. I just hope it fixes itself.

Still not working for me. It is annoying having to log in each time I come back even if the computer has been left on with the forum open. I use Internet Explorer. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Is there any way to go back to leaving us logged in? I was all set this AM with my coffee to read my "unread" posts, there were lots of them. Some company dropped in for about 45 min. After they left, I went back to finish reading, and I was "logged out". When I logged back in, there were only 5 "unread" posts. I'm guessing when I got logged out, it "re-started" and only showed me posts since the system logged me out. This has happened several times, and is such a bother! I don't want to have to wade through each topic and look at times to see what I've missed. Please, change it back to leave us logged in!! THANK YOU!!

It's not a setting we have changed. Sometimes the software is just wonky. Try clearing your cookies and caches, including browser cache.

Southern Gardener - it is happening to me as well. And I am still getting an e-mail every time I post to a thread, telling me I am receiving it because I am 'watching' this thread. I have cleared out cookies, history, temp files, changed my settings, and still......

The same glitch happened to me, I started receiving email notices about threads I didnt "watch". So each time I got a notice I click on the link, went to the thread and click stop watching the topic. See if that will help.
