My cabbage plants have presented with holes and I found a green worm down in one of the plants.  I squished the worm, but are there likely to be more?  What do I do?Cabbage worms Img_0316

Spray the plants with Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis), which can be found at places such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc..  It is a biological control for caterpillars such as the cabbage worm. Spray early morning or late evening when the sun UV rays won't kill the Bt.

BT is good for treatment.  Securely covering with insect netting or bridal tulle from day 1 is preventive.
