Don't mind if I do....
Personally, I am torn, I like the underdog, but as I get older, I tend to pull for the old codgers...

But it's more effective Bear-Poking if we are rooting (punny!) for Josh's carrot.

I'm on pins and needles - will it be carrots again or some other worthy veggie? Another battle of the sfg titans!
They're both winners in my book and I'm torn as well, ashort!

Re: All I want for Christmas.....
Truth is, I modified Josh's ani-gif so that something besides a gift fell from the sky, but my wife threatened to cut off the Christmas cookies she baked if I posted it. Making the choice not to post it really messed with my mojo, so I'm laying low for a while and taking the flak for it!ashort wrote:I think Josh is in his head... come on, boffer, get in here and defend yourself...

Re: All I want for Christmas.....
boffer...I'm coming over to your house...
Dear Mrs. Boffer,
Could you please fix some of these cookies for boffer and tell him they are from me.
Thank you!
Reindeer Poop Cookies
Mix butter, sugar, milk and cocoa together in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil,
stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by teaspoon full (or as large/small as you would like) onto wax paper and let
harden. They will set up in about 30-60 minutes.
These will keep for several days without refrigerating, up to 2 weeks refrigerated and 2-3 months frozen.
Yield will depend on how big you make the cookies.
I woke up with such a scare when I heard Santa call….
“Now dash away, dash away, dash away all !”
I ran to the lawn and in the snowy white drifts,
those nasty reindeer had left “little gifts”
I got an old shovel and started to scoop,
neat little piles of “Reindeer Poop”
But to throw them away, seemed such a waste,
so I saved them, thinking-you might like a taste.
As I finished my task, which took quite awhile,
Old Santa, passed by and he sheepishly smiled.
And I heard him exclaim as he was in the sky…
"Well they’re not potty trained, but at least they can fly"

It's all about the brown stuff!
I gave my wife your recipe; maybe this weekend.
And if they turn out looking like I hope they will...watch out!

Re: All I want for Christmas.....
That same recipe, minus the nuts, won me $50 and first place in a in-house company candy contest. Much to the chagrin of one of our art directors who spent a good portion of her previous evening making gorgeous truffles. Ugly, but delicious!
