Boffer, thank you for knowing that the Tonight Show is Jay Leno, regardless of how long gone he is. (Unless of course, one wants to go back to Johnny!)

Well, how much more can I embarrass myself in one day?
DH and I don't watch tv - we don't bother with cable because we never watch tv - just Netflix. But I thought he retired a couple of years ago.
Just wait till you start getting old, sonny - it's not as easy as it looks!

Re: The Editorial Comment Thread
Hah! I'm not crazy! Just extremely behind the times!
"In 2004, Leno announced his retirement, effective in 2009, and NBC announced that Conan O'Brien would take over The Tonight Show.
In 2009, the network promoted Leno to prime time for a Monday-Friday
talk show, strategically thinking that the cost of producing a talk show
is a fraction of the cost of an hour-long scripted drama, so Leno in
prime time would be profitable even if his ratings were quite low by
prime time standards. The ratings, though, were lower than the network's
affiliates could tolerate, and within months Leno was reshuffled out of
prime time and back to The Tonight Show."

I thought I vaguely remembered something like that, Martha! Still - my memory isn't what it used to be - getting old is not for sissies!

What surprised me is that, given your work schedule hours, you don't get home and watch late night comedy to unwind. Then you would have known. Now we know!
That begs the question, given your occupation, just how do your unwind when you get home at all hours of the night? Hmmm? Oh that's right...you're still newly weds!
Re: The Editorial Comment Thread
Well, yes we are still newlyweds , but the other thing is we do series tv via Netflix - subtract the commercials, and it's 40 minutes - perfect.
