I just saw on my local news that Cincinnati just set a record for rainfall in the month of April at 11.4 inches! It is supposed to rain for the next 3 days and if we get at least an inch and a half, we'll break the record for rainfall in any single month of 13. something inches!
I hope my peas, carrots, potatoes and everything else realllllly like water!

The Cardinals are half a game in front of your Reds. Oops...not so random.
Piggy backing your comment, though, we had a spring like that a couple of years ago. People whose basements had never seen water were installing sump pumps. I hope things dry out in both places and this surplus finds its way south to those that need it right now.
Random.......MMMMMMMMmm grape jam. (I'm watching a rerun of Friends)

We passed our average rainfall for April and the front lawn is so wet that we are unable to mow. Huge front yard= 250x250 plus the side property. the riding mower gets stuck.

Re: Random Comment
We have received twice our normal rainfall for the month of April - plus we had 180" of snow this winter. The lawns are mush and the grass is growing fast although no one will be able to mow! More rain forecast for the next 3 days. I'd like to be able to save the rain for the middle of a hot summer

GG - I've never paid so much attention to the weather before! I keep hoping they tell how high the Little Miami is, but they usually skip it. As of Sunday, we were still in major flood. 3 highest month ever in recorded history - amazing! I really hope we don't break any more records.

Oh dizzy! I laughed out loud! I thought I was the only one that just wore pants during the cold months! I beat you by 1 day though. It was Easter and somehow, to me, it seemed I needed to welcome Spring!

If you want to be technical about the thing I shaved mine on Easter too. I wouldn't have looked right in my Easter dress with hairy legs. LOL
I painted my toes for the first time as well. Easter was the first day I wore open toe shoes.

UTBW and Dizzy....LOL too funny!
I would consider that in these cold months if I was single but poor hubby! I couldn't do that to him! I guess I wouldn't make a very good hippie! LOL

I'll get you some resources put into the regional forum. Flooding will be the next hot topic we are all concerned about anyway. Stay tuned.

I cut the grass in the rain today.
And I signed my 5 year old up for drum lessons, yikes. At least the drums are at the music store and not at my house.
My legs are competing with the garden.
