Hello All,
I wanted to start a topic for this region of Florida. We have distinct challenges with weather and growing seasons. I'm originally from Mississippi and found gardening here a new world. I will post pics of my progress and share what I have learned.
If you are looking for Vermiculite, I found medium grade at Atlantic FEC www.atlanticfec.com/ for about $11 for 4CF. I have not found any other suppliers yet.
Flamingo Road Nursery has mushroom compost a "organic variety compost" for sale. Box sores have manure compost. That's all I've found so far.
Happy gardening,
Shelby

WOW! that's a great price on the vermiculite. Be sure to be careful with too much mushroom compost, I understand it has lots of salts in it?? My garden didn't do so well with it! good luck to you!!
