We had our first "false" frost overnight in Albuquerque...had 1/2" of ice on the roof of my car this morning!!! And here's what the Sandia Mountains looked like (they're about 7 miles east of my home and about 5,000 feet higher).

I call it the first "false" frost because, typically, it'll warm up again in about 1-2 days and stays above 32º until the end of the month. So I still plan on planting my cut-and-come again lettuce and garlic this weekend.

We are pretty chilly and rainy here today to! Did have some frost here this morning as well. Time is coming...We spent a good part of yesterday getting all the animals and everything set up for the winter. It will be here soon Shocked

And I ran out of time to plant the garlic yesterday

We had 31*F on Wed nite and then on Thurs nite it dropped further, to 27.

Today the heatwave is on as you can see by my weathersticker below. I covered things against the cold and all is going well.
