does anybody know how many cubic feet in a 50# bag of black kow composted manure?

Well, there's not a lot of data out there for compost/manure pounds per cu ft, but I do know that 40 pounds of topsoil is just about 1 cu ft.

I've heard others use a 5 gallon bucket to measure out their compost, because it's just about one cu ft Smile

a 5 gallon bucket is almost exactly 2/3 of a cubic foot... If I recall, the last time I measure a 50 lb bag of black cow it was a little over 1 bucket full, so I'd guess that it's just a hair short of 1 cubic foot
