Looks like it belongs to the thistle family. It sure is pretty......my favourite colour.

Looks like some type of knapweed to me, but I've only seen them in the wild. Was this a purchased plant or seed?

I think the leaves look different but not enough of the leaves are showing in the thistle picture to be sure.

The bud looks like Bachelor button and the bloom a bit like monarda, but the foliage is all wrong. Josh is this native wild or cultivated?

Update: I found it, it is a perennial bachelor button Dealbata Rosea Centaurea

Well, I guessed knapweed right anyway. Knapweeds are in the same Genus, Centaurea.
