New to the Forum and SFG
I wanted to say hello to everyone; I'm new to the forum and a new beginner to SFG. I'm excited about my new venture in SFG and look forward to corresponding with each of you. My name is "JC" and I live in the NW FL panhandle. I love to learn and am anxious to hear about your ideas and recommendations about SFG. Thanks for your time!

Re: New to the Forum and SFG

You have joined a great group of people that loved to talk SFGing.
We have other members in the Fl Panhandle, so you will have neighbors with similar climate to help you out.
Please be sure to post your progress with your first SFG, we really enjoy seeing how a new garden comes together. And yes, we want you to share pictures too.
Again, Welcome

New to the Forum and SFG

So many nice people here who are happy to help us newbies. Please feel free to post any questions, concerns, problems, successes - and pictures! Everybody here loves to see what other gardeners are doing. Check our your regional forum, too, for advice specific to your area. I hope you'll keep us informed as to how things are going with your sfg!

Re: New to the Forum and SFG

I'm so glad you joined the forum. You are in the coastal and tropical south region and I encourage you to look in and post there as well. There are quite alot of us. You will find topics that are important to your area. Here is a link to a map and more information about our region http://www.garden.org/report/descripition/full/16
Have you read Mel's book "All New Squarefoot Gardening" it is an invaluable resource. The people here are very helpful and sometime a little silly. Please feel free to ask any SFG questions and don't forget to use the search box under the "Latest Topics" column.
If your garden is built what kinds of things are you growing? I hope you will find SFG as rewarding as we do, and I look forward to reading your posts, look for a June update under the regional topic soon.
