Peppers already?

About 10 days ago I planted three green pepper plants--they are small (about 6 inches tall, less than a dozen leaves). Because of bad weather, I have kept them covered this whole week so they have been staying warm and look very healthy (I have even seen new growth on them since planting). Yesterday when I checked on them I noticed that each plant has a pepper forming on it and one plant has THREE peppers. This seems very early, fast and three peppers seems a bit taxing for one small plant. Will this stop my plants from growing and should I remove one, two or all of these peppers?

Technically speaking, for my region I shouldn't even have planted these for about another week but they weren't doing well in the house so I decided to take my chances. I definitely didn't expect peppers for quite some time. I guess the MM really is the miracle I've been looking for!

If any blossoms appear on a pepper plant up to a week after transplanting outdoors, they should be removed so the plant can give energy to its roots first.
