Who used netting for cabbage worms?
Last year I didn't plant cabbage after spending the previous summer grossed out doing battle with all the disgusting cabbage worms. I would like to try them again this year by covering the box with the nylon netting. How well did it work for those that tried? I am trying to remember the posts from last year.

I'm trying it this year. Hope it helps. Someone recommended bridal veil illusion because it comes in 108 in width and is reasonably priced. I paid $2.09 yd. on sale at Jo-Anne's in Wilmington, NC last week and $1.88 yd. two weeks ago in Norfolk, VA.

I also used the bridal netting for my big 5X10 bed over a center pipe. Like a tent. Bricks were used to hold the sides down and binder clips for the ends.
I also used pop up hampers on the small 2x16 bed, turned upside down. For the few plants I had mixed in with the herbs. They worked great.

I am looking forward to using the tulle type netting for one of my TT beds. I will cover broccoli, cauliflower, things that cabbage worms like. I will also have carrots, lettuces, spinach and radish in this particular bed. There is no pollination to worry about on any of these plants.
