Officially gardening season for me!
I planted
On March 1
broccoli (romanesco and regular),
parsley,
brussel sprouts,
luffa,
onion,
zucchini,
acorn squash,
cucumbers,
sea oats,
oregano,
marjoram,
basil,
As of Today March 5 I now have sprouted;
cucumber,
parsley,
broccoli (romanesco and regular)
luffa
I planted cauliflower today. I had to go to the nursery to buy seed because I couldn't find any in town. the lady sold me a few for a quarter lol....
I have little green things growing!! But then this is Iowa so we will probably have another snow storm or two so will have to enjoy them inside for a while.

Re: Officially gardening season for me!
Those first signs of green are so great, aren't they? We've been in the 60s and 70s, but our last frost date is around 4/15. I'm sure we will have plenty of cold weather before then, but I have flats of peppers & tomatoes in my hoop house & can bring them inside if needed. I just couldn't wait to plant something.
