My transplants died :(
I started some broccoli, bush type beans, brussel sprouts, and cucumbers from seed weeks ago. I put them in the garden last week and almost everything shriveled up and died. Can I replant from seed at this point in the game?

The only way to know is to start doing the math. When is your next frost date - what do the packets say, etc. Broccoli and Brussel sprouts can take some frost, I know. Bush beans and cukes can't even be planted by seed here in So Cal right now so I would not be hopeful there.
Re: My transplants died :(
My first frost is around October 7th. Going by my SFG Book it looks like it's a No Go. Lettuce, Spinach, and Radishes will be ok, but the rest is no good. I guess I'll have to just look forward to next year.

What's the worst that could happen if you tried? Who knows, maybe it will be a late frost...
My first frost is around the same time as yours and I didn't start my cole crops yet, but I'll be direct seeding them this weekend. I'd end up with some empty squares anyway, so I figure I may as well put in a few of these seeds and see what happens.
Oh... and I just LOVE your little garden gnomes!

Aren't they little cuties?!! That was my twins' Halloween costume last year. We found those and couldn't help but stick them in the garden!
I may poke some more seeds in a few boxes and see what happens.

I think you have a shot at the bush beans and the brassicas. Probably not the cukes... but worst that can happen is they die, right? Go for it! (I am sorely tempted to replant my cukes also..... but I want the square footage for other things.)
