Another SFG Newbie
Hello from Connecticut, zone 6
My knowledge of SFG began 48 hours ago when I ordered the Danish invented, GrowCamp, a 4' x 4' raised bed with greenhouse capability. Apparently, this little greenhouse is new to the USA this year (to the best of my knowledge), but has been used in Europe for a few years. Having a raised bed that is 16 sq.ft., for me, should be ideal. I would like to try growing right through next winter by planting spinach and beets. Anyway, after ordering this unit Saturday morning, I googled my questions about how much I could I grow in this 4x4 box, and came up with SFG. An hour later, I was in the library, and am now 1/2 way through Mel's book. Okay, that's my story, and I look forward to learning more here with you nice folks.

Howdy Moses:
Welcome to the most exciting and easiest way to "grow your own" ever invented. We are so glad to have you here and will have to look up the information on the Mini-Greenhouse you mentioned. Again Welcome to the Square Foot Gardening forum.
God Bless, Ward.

Hi Moses and welcome to the forum!
Hey, did that butterfly go from my house to yours or the otherway around?? Funny
! I agree with Ward about sfg'ing, and I think you will too ~ sounds like you're well on your way. Keep us informed about this mini greenhouse of yours!

Welcome Moses
I was new last year and I've loved every minute of it. I jumped in with both feet. In southwestern Maine you like to get all you can from a short season.
I'm sure you'll find everyone very helpful.

Re: Another SFG Newbie
Sounds like you have jumped in feet first! Congratulations and welcome to SFG and the sfgForum. If you have any questions about SFG this is the place to come. Lots of people, lots of experience.
I hadn't heard of the GrowCamp so I looked it up. Here's the link to the US site should anyone else be interested:
