Well, at least they're cute...
Our third "crop" of wild baby bunnies recently left their nest outside. I expect they'll be sticking around the lawn for awhile until they get bigger. My dog (a basset hound) is still sniffing them out wherever they're hiding. The other day, he scared one from the lawn into my SFG area. Thanks, dog, you've shown the rabbit where the salad bar is!
Sure enough, today I went out to harvest and many of the carrots had their greens nibbled off. This is the first rabbit damage I've had. Considering that my other root crops have been doing so poorly this year, I really don't have much expectation of the carrots when I pull them up, so I just laughed. The cute, little bunny can help himself, THIS year, at least! Next year, I mend the fence.

Ahhhhhhhh I would be so happy to see them and thinking how I could keep em out at the same time too for next year. If you get pics, they would be so nice. We were at a campground one year that had water ways, and a bunny population that had come from domesticated rabbits, thats the year we learned rabbits could swim!!! so a moat around it wont work Kidding
