squash bugs

In the past I've had problems with squash bugs. This year (my second doing SFG), I thought I'd try cucumbers and zucchini, growing up a tressle (the galvanized steel type in the book, which worked great last year for tomatoes). Has anyone found this method of growing easier for controlling squash bugs?
