A Lettuce Tasting
There I sat on that cold, cold, wet, rainy day. Rudy and I could not go out to play.
Rather than wait for the cat-in-the-hat I needed something else to do. I tilt toward the boring side of the scale so a lettuce tasting seemed exciting. Then, because I am serious about being boring, I blogged the results.

Deborah ....on a quest for lettuce that will stand up to heat (at least as we know it in western Washington)

Your creativity, poetic tendencies and humor all shine through!
And the lettuce looks marvelous - as I said on your blog, you are a joy.

Deborah who used to want to do that…..then I got old

Re: A Lettuce Tasting
Now the 2nd and the 3rd look like awesome lettuce to try. Overbought seeds this year but will be buying those next year if I can find them.
