The SFG is doing ok, I made the big mistake of putting plastic down to keep the weeds from growing up into my boxes. Apparently the water wasnt able to drain properly and it was stunting the growth in 3 of the 4 boxes. I pushed a screwdriver down through the soil in a few places in each box in order to provide better drainage and the planst are doing much better.

Things are looking great now!!

We have blackberries too, but yours are ahead of ours, yours look delicious! I can't wait for ours to ripen now, wild or tame they make a great blackberry pie! some updated pics.. Icon_biggrin

I'm glad you realized your problem with the water not draining.
Easy fix by punching some holes in the bottoms of the plastic.
