USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map Empty USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map

This past Wednesday the USDA updated their Plant Hardiness Zone Map for the first time since 2012.  According to the new chart, we moved from Zone 6a to Zone 6b. Did your zone change?

New hardiness zone map will help US gardeners keep pace with climate change

No change for me here in the northwest…still 6a.  It is colder than that here though….

Same here. That chart shows that we are supposed to have a low temp of -5ºF, but last January we had a whole week of temps below -10ºF.
