Ads are back
Those blasted ads are back. Just trying to type this message was a challege. The ads jump right into the box where you choose which area you want to post.
I wonder if I got an ad removal program just for my computer if it would help?? Does anyone have one of those and find it helpful??

Re: Ads are back
Lovey, I'm sorry you're seeing ads. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do now. In the past, members would donate a few dollars to pay the ransom. Something happened to cause Forumotion to lock my access, and I can't access our kitty and pay the small amount. It used to be like $10-12 per year.

I use the free Adblocker Ultimate plug-in, and have not had a problem with ads. I just checked the plug-in and it shows that 5 ads have been blocked this session.

Re: Ads are back
I use the browser extension ublock origin. It's available on Firefox and Chrome-based browsers. It allows you to disable the blocker for particular sites with a click of a icon, for those rare occasions when the blocker interferes with something useful.
The best tool for you might depend on what platform (Windows? Mac?) and browser you use.

Re: Ads are back
I'm on the Mac, and have ublock running all the time in my Firefox. I almost never see ads anywhere (including here, YouTube, etc). Can't say enough good about it.markqz wrote:I use the browser extension ublock origin. It's available on Firefox and Chrome-based browsers.
