Honeeeeee, I'm home!!!
Hello all my SFG friends and fellow gardeners. After almost 18 weeks (up on Saturday), I am back in the garden, covered with snow, planning for next year and trying to figure out how to use my cold frame this late. I am so glad to be back with you. I can't wait to go through the atchives to catch up with all. I had a little ver unexpected heart surgery and it set me back a little, but my dear dear hubby and daughter have watched me like a hawk and made me follow all the rules. They walked me out to the garden every day just to get me out of the house.
I lost my radishes, but I think my beets and garlic are doing great. I even had a leaf or two of each of my lettuces (4 different kinds + )dandelions
I've missed you all, I'll probably be up most of the night reading the older posts. Please enjoy your holiday season, I know I'm VERY grateful for every moment of mine. NEVER miss a chance to tell someone you love them, you no never, ever know if it might be your last.
Meryy Christmas:
trustinhart, Kari

Re: Honeeeeee, I'm home!!!
Kari,
back, so glad to know you are on the mend and you have such dear, wonderful family to help you!

Re: Honeeeeee, I'm home!!!
If you survive what would have killed you 100 years ago then the rest is gravy. Enjoy. Glad to have you back also and in a very few days the days start getting longer which means spring is on the way. I swear I am getting to be more about the solstice than Christmas anymore. Even in CA the dearth of light is disheartening!

Happy Birthday on December 13, Trustinhart
Now that you are back, we can wish you a belated Happy Birthday
.
So glad you are doing better. And by experience, I agree with you.
